LIS 1121 - Basic Library Research

This course is designed to provide information concerning the development of books and libraries and give instruction in and practice with the skills necessary for selecting, locating and using library materials in a variety of formats. Online library catalog searching, using MAGNOLIA and MELO databases, reading e-books, evaluating websites, and using style manuals, print resources and library databases will be covered.
