BIO 1143 - General Biology II, Lecture 3 Credit Hours
A lecture course for science majors that reinforces concepts introduced in BIO 1133 General Biology I, Lecture, while emphasizing the diversity of life. Topics covered include evolution, classification, ecology, detailed consideration of each group of organisms and viruses, study of animals and plants including their basic anatomy and physiology.
Prerequisite: successful completion of BIO 1133 and BIO 1131 with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite: concurrent enrollment in BIO 1141 .
