BIO 1133 - General Biology I, Lecture
3 Credit Hours
A lecture course for science majors that includes study of the scientific method, chemistry relevant to biological systems, cell structure and physiology, cell processes including photosynthesis and cellular respiration, cell division, genetics, and molecular genetics.
Prerequisite: Composite ACT score of 19 or above or successful completion of a college-level biological science course with a grade of “B” or higher.
Corequisite: concurrent enrollment in BIO 1131 .
