A lecture course that emphasizes chemical stoichiometry, gases, solutions, acids/bases, and an introduction to organic chemistry. This course cannot be substituted for CHE 1223.

Prerequisite: successful completion of CHE 1313/CHE 1311 with grades of “C” or better.
Corequisite: CHE 1321.
