Academic Core Curriculum

This core curriculum is designed for students who plan to complete the Associate of Arts degree or the Associate of Applied Science Degree. This curriculum is incorporated in all programs of students leading to an Associate of Arts or Associate of Applied Science as outlined in this Bulletin.
English Composition: 6 semester hours
Humanities/Fine Arts: 9 semester hours
Social/Behavioral Science: 6 semester hours
Natural Sciences: 6 semester hours
Natural Sciences Laboratory: 2 semester hours
Mathematics: 3 semester hours
Basic Computer Skills: 3 semester hours
Learning and Life Skill: 1 semester hour
Total: 36 semester hours
